salaficast.net is a community based website developed by Masjid Ibn 'Uthaymeen to benefit the Muslims all over the globe. We are dedicated to broadcasting the most authentic Islaamic lectures and live programs over the Internet.

The Motivational Factors

Why did we decide to set up salaficast.net? For two reasons and they are:

Firstly, there is no Internet radio station out there right now which broadcasts authentic Islaamic lectures and live events, 24x7.

Secondly, there are a lot of live events that are being broadcast on the Internet via various methods which fall short, in terms of audio quality or the sheer amount of fitnah that comes with them (e.g. pop-up ads).

Based upon these factors, we decided to develop our own streaming audio delivery system. Our online radio station uses a sophisticated system to deliver the highest clarity in streaming audio. For more information about the technologies we use, visit our technology information page.

How The Da'wah Benefits

Our goal is to build this site in to an online fundraising tool to help fund the da'wah to Islaam based upon the Quraan, the authentic Sunnah of the Messenger (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam), as understood by his Companions (Radhiallaahu 'Anhum) and the noble Imaams and scholars who followed them in righteousness. The Model

You are probably asking yourself... "How can we raise money by broadcasting programs for free?". The answer is simple. We broadcast the lectures recorded by various masaajid and da'wah centers from all over the world and provide a link for you to purchase the lecture on tape or CD.

We are very confident that once you listen to the lectures that we broadcast, you will rush to buy the original tapes and CDs! The money raised from the sale of each tape or CD goes straight to the masjid or center that produced that lecture. It's that simple.
